Cameroonian hip hop vocal sensation Mic Monsta has recently been slammed by some fans for choosing to put aside Ko-C’s homecoming concert that held last night in Kumba for Naira Marley’s concert which was supposed to hold in Buea/Limbe yesterday, February 14, 2021. “You’re Funny If You Needed Just One Show To Test My Love For Kumba” – Mic Monsta
The Kumba-born and bred rapper who was scheduled to attend both shows recently announced on his official Facebook page that he was given up Ko-C’s show for Marley’s show just a few days to the D-Day. That didn’t sit well with some fans. According to them, he was giving up the show of a fellow countryman for the show of a foreigner just because of money and also because he thinks Naira Marley is a bigger artist than Ko-C. He even got mocked when Naira Marley’s concert was finally postponed indefinitely.
Mic Monsta has reacted to this bashing and mockery. “Feel Free to hate me if it helps you love yourself,” Mic Monsta wrote on Facebook. The rapper added that he finds it funny that the people bashing him needed just one show to test his love for Kumba. All his songs breathe Kumba and that is too deep to touch. He said all he wants to do is make money and he is not even sorry about it.
Cameroonian popular Comedian, Danny Green FreshKing also thinks Mic Monsta has done way too much for Kumba to get disrespected the way he has. “When I hear the word KUMBA, all I see is Mic Monsta. Nigga put that City on the map about 10 years ago. As una like for wukop disrespect people anyhow and forget all the good deeds they have been doing,” Danny Green reacts.
