Christian Ronaldo has been in the news following his end of 2years contract this season with the Giants of Serie A Juventus. News filtered the internet about Juve’s plans to drop Ronaldo as they were dismissed by the Portuguese club Porto in the prestigious premier league. “We have decided to keep Ronaldo” Juventus confirms
Juventus sporting director, Fabio Paratici says Ronaldo is going nowhere amidst reports he might return to Real Madrid since his absence is still felt in the club.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been rumored to leave the club following their early exit from the Champions League. But according to Fabio Paratici who is Juventus’ sporting director, Ronaldo will remain at the club beyond this season despite concerns about the value for money he brings to the team, given his reported €55 million-per-year (£47m/$65m) wages.
Juventus who suffered a knockout in the premier league still faces a problem in grasping their 10th Seria A title following their disappointing defeat to 16th place Benevento at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, March 21.
On the fate of Ronaldo, Fabio Paratici had the following to say when interviewed by Goal.
“We’ve decided to keep Cristiano Ronaldo. He’s the best player in the world and we are holding on tight. “We have a project that we started from last season, one game will not change our views or our strategy. This line continues and we are very happy with what we’ve done, so we’ll continue working to improve.”
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner as in the past week rumor to return to Madrid but this claim was ended by Real Madrid Coach Blancos Zidane who defused the rumors with a “no”.
