Veteran Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okereke, is no more.
The sad news was announced by her colleague in the entertainment industry, Joseph Okechukwu.
According to the filmmaker, he was about to pay for Cynthia Okereke’s flight ticket to come to America but sadly, she d!ed in her sleep on tuesday at age 63.
Before her passing, the Enugu born actress has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies, including; King Jaja of Opobo, Osuofia in London, Second Chance, Coronation, Otollo, Sound of Love, Second Burial, Lion Finger, Hidden Tears, Mega Mama, Mr. Ibu’s Wedding Day, etc.
She often played the role of a good mother, supportive sister in-law, grandmother, royal queen and mother in-law in Nollywood movies.
The actress suffered a kidnapping one year ago and she was also guest at the church of Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufenyi, together with Veteran Actress, Chinwe Owoh, where the Prophet reconciled them and offered them cars.
