5. The 2022 edition of the Mount Cameroon Race of Hope took place in Buea with 26-year-old Elvis Nsabinla winning the race in the senior men’s category for the first time ever and 24-year-old Tata Carine winning the race in the senior women’s category for the 4th time.

There was a debate on whether a local coach should be hired to manage the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon or not, with many citing the likes of Patrick Mboma, Rigobert Song, Carl Enow Ngachu, Oman Biyik, and others as National experts who could handle the job. 3. Tilla attempts suicide

Cameroonian female rapper Tilla was rushed to the hospital after leaving a suicide note on her Facebook page. According to Tilla, she was tired and just wanted to say goodbye. Well, thank God she was saved in time.

2. Cameroonian model and actress Cynthia Ngala bows out at 29.
Cynthia died leaving a little daughter behind. She battled lung disease for a while, was operated upon, went unconscious and unfortunately passed away on Wednesday evening last week.
