Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana has taken complete responsibility for Manchester United’s 4 – 3 defeat against Bayern Munich last Wednesday.

In an interview with TNT Sports, Andre Onana said their team lost because of him and the match was one of the worst games he has ever played.

“It is difficult to lose this way because I feel in the beginning we started really good but after my mistake we lost control of the game. It is a difficult situation for us and for me especially because I am the one who let the team down.

The team was good but because of me, we didn’t win this game. I am equally happy for the team but we just have to move on and that is the life of a goalkeeper. So if we didn’t win today, it’s because of me.

The team went down because of that mistake and I have to learn from it, be strong and move on. I have a lot to prove at Manchester United because my start at the club is not so good. The game with Bayern is one of my worst games and it isn’t how I wanted it to be.”

Onana has now conceded 14 goals in his last 6 games with Man United.
