Nigerian singer and rapper MOHBAD (Ilerioluwa Aloba), has been confirmed dead.
He passed away on Tuesday, at 27.
The cause of his death remains unknown.
A short video clip making rounds on social media showed the moment the singer was declared dead.
His lifeless body was shown in a bus while the person making the video called out his name, wailing.
Mohbad died leaving behind his 5 months old baby and long time girlfriend.
This heartbroken girlfriend has revealed that he was struggling with his mental health. According to her, he kept saying he wanted her and their child to be safe so the people who were after him won’t harm them.
“Nothing made him happy anymore, even after seeing his baby, he became more worried” the girl adds.
Mohbad was a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label.
Some of his fans have taken to Instagram to accuse Marley of causing his death. However, there is no proof to this.
