Cameroonian singer Fru Shuri Tatiana known professionally as Shura T.F has parted ways with one of Cameroon’s most outstanding music record labels, Steven’s Music. Shura T.F Parts Ways With Steven’s Music
The exact reasons behind Shura’s exit from the US-based music Company are not known yet but according to a release from the record label, Shura and Steven’s Music both decided to amicably part ways. They are proud of the work they have put in during her 5-year stay at the label to move her career forward. In addition, Steven’s music says they believe in her talent and are sure that the best is yet to come from her.
Shura is a Cameroonian Singer, Songwriter, and Philanthropist who was born and raised in Cameroon’s capital city, Yaounde. The 32-year-old multi-award-winning singer got signed to Steven’s Music, which is a home label for some of Cameroon’s best music talents like Daphne, Boy Tag, M-Pro, and Ewube, in 2016. Under Steven’s Music, Shura released her first breakout hit track “Allez Dire” in 2018. The song was a hit not just in Cameroon but in Africa as well as it featured on one of BBC’s most-listened-to radio programs “Focus On Africa.”
Still with Steven’s Music, Shura went on to release “Atalakou,” “Dis Moi tout,” “tranquil,” “Voila moi,” and her most recent track “Nyamangoro” in September 2020.
Shura also got nominated for several awards during her time at Steven’s music including Afrima 2018 (Best Female Artist in Central Africa), Canal d’Or 2019 (Musical revelation of the year) greenlight awards 2019 (Musical Revelation of the year), Balafon music award 2019 (Musical Revelation of the year), Urban Jamz Awards 2019 (Best New Artist).
