Hailing from the streets of Bamenda, Cameroon, Torch City is a trio of young and talented artists – Cales (Tassing Cales), Edico (Sunday Edwin), and Waxzey (Fomonyuy Hans).

They are united by their shared passion for painting a vivid picture of their life experiences and the streets they call home through the medium of Hip Hop music.

The group has steadily gained recognition and thrived within the Cameroonian hip hop scene, boasting a collection of hit songs.

The group was was initially signed under the Kwata Music record label, of ace rapper, Mic Monsta.
They however parted ways with the label and created their own label, Torch City Music, in 2023.

Since then, they have gone on to release several songs under their label, including: Benzo, Clap dance, we still dey here, Neigbour, an EP entitled Money and Friends and most recently, Tanap Mor.
