Profiling Mister Elad
Who is Mister Elad?
Mister Elad AKA Mister Melody is a Cameroonian talented singer, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer.
He was born Eladekumu Denis Elad, raised in Kumba, South West region of Cameroon.
Mister Elad was first noticed in the Cameroon music scene in 2012 when he featured in Jovi’s rap piece “All I Have.”
Still in 2012, Mister Elad wrote and produced Museba’s hit track “Bom Bom Boom.” The song went on top several playlists in Cameroon and beyond.
In 2013, Mister Elad signed under MuMaK/Mudhouse and went on to release “Chakara” in 2014 under the label. Still in 2014, he did the remix of “Chakara” with Nigerian superstar Iyanya.
In 2016, he wrote Blanche Bailly’s hit song “Kam We Stay.”
He released “Yamo” in 2017 under P Matt Records and “Gimmedat” in 2018, produced by his alter ego Mr. Melody.
Master Elad released “For My Head” in February 2019, a love tune with a mélange of Afrobeat, dancehall and zouk, directed by Nkeng Stephens.
In 2020, Mister Elad released “Salute” Feating talented rapper, Cleo Grae. The song was directed by Mr. Tcheck.
In 2021, Mister Elad released his most anticipated EP “Pikin for headmaster” containing the following nine tracks: Born to win, Pour, Neighbor Helep neighbor, Passengers, Mimba We, Fade, Comot for road, Salute Ft Cloe Grae, and Tomorrow.
He has written some of Cameroon’s most outstanding songs such as Blanche Bailly’s “Kam we stay,” Museba’s “Boom Boom Boom” and Nernos “Allo l’argent.”
