Akwo Charles Malinga McCoy known artistically as LOOCID is a versatile Camerooian singer and Songwriter.

He was born on May 10, 1996 in Kumba, Meme division of the South West region of Cameroon.

Education

Loocid obtained his GCE Ordinary Level Certificate in 2012 at GHS (GSS at the time) Kumba.

He went on to obtain his GCE Advanc Level Certificate in 2014 at CCAS KUMBA.

He holds a BSc. degree in Management from the Prestigious University of Buea.

Music CAREER

The journey into the music game began for Loocid when he was just a kid.
Growing up, he was inspired to be a writer since he couldn’t really express himself to anyone. I got into poem writing as that could easily help him lash out his frustrations and I feel better.
Singing also felt like a safe heaven for him.

He started doing music in high school but officially got into it in his first year in the University.

He started with the artistic name Emcee but recently changed to Loocid.

As Emcee, he released over 10 songs, including collabos and an EP. These songs include:
