After the Voice, Libianca signed to 5K Records and Sony in 2022.

In December 2022, Libianca released “People”, a song that took Cameroon, Africa, the US and the entire world by storm.
The lyrics of “People” discuss her experience of the rare mood disorder cyclothymia, which causes emotional ups and downs that are similar to those of bipolar disorder, though less extreme.
She wrote the song in November, same year, after throwing a thanksgiving party where she felt invisible. She had been at a low point of her life for about two weeks, and felt she was drowning and nobody could see, not even her friends.
So, she decided to go to the studio because she feels better whenever she does something productive and then in the studio, her raw truth came out.
And then, the song became massive, it went viral, and the success was beyond Libianca’s imagination.
She has done a remix of the song with Nigerian music stars Omah Lay and Ayra Starr.
