For the second time in the space of seven days, the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed once again to beat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as their game ended in a 0-0 draw on Tuesday, June 8. Nigerians call for the sack of their coach after the Super Eagles failed to beat cameroon in Friendly match.

Super Eagles of Nigeria went into this encounter with the hope of them getting a win having lost their first tie against Cameroon 1-0 in Austria, but they were unable to get a win.

The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Moffi missed some chances which would have given the Super Eagles the win over Cameroon in this international friendly game.

However, many Nigerians were angry after the final whistle with coach Gernot Rohr being attacked for his failure to beat Cameroon in two games.

According to most comments under Nigerian blogs who reported the match, many want their coach to be sack.

Gernot Rohr has been the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria since 2016 when he replaced Sunday Oliseh who decided to walk away. And since the German came on board, Super Eagles have not won any title with their best position as third at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

They also failed to go past the group stages at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia losing their last game against Argentina.  Nigerianscall for the sack of their coach after Nigeria failed to win cameroon in Friendly match.
