Cameroonian Singer Libianca has won the BET Award in the category of Viewer’s Choice: Best International Act.
Libianca won ahead of Camidoh (Ghana), Asake (Nigeria), Pabi Cooper (South Africa), Flo (UK), Maureen (France), Raye (UK), MC Ryan SP (Brazil), and Werendi (France) with almost 80% of the votes.
Asake recorded 12%, while Camidoh recorded 8%.
Libianca has thus become the first ever Cameroonian to win a BET Award. She is also the first Cameroonian to be nominated for the Awards.
Libianca is a Cameroonian singer who is based in the USA.
