Healthiest ways to brush your teeth and care for your mouth
There is a right and an appropriate way to brush and floss your teeth. These ways are very healthy as they will keep your teeth fresh and looking good.
Gently brush your teeth on all sides with a soft- bristle brush and flouride toothpaste. Flouride toothpaste helps kill germs in the mouth and helps give the mouth a fresh breathe which everyone enjoys. Replace your toothbrush every 3 to 4 months even if it doesn’t look worn out.
Use small circular motions and short-back and forth strokes. That is to say, brush all corners of your mouth.
Brush carefully and gently along your gum line. And also avoid brushing your gums too hard as they are very soft and could be wounded which is not healthy. And avoid using very hard toothbrushes.
Lightly brush your tongue or use a tongue scraper to help keep your mouth clean. When you brush your tongue, you notice a different color. The scraper helps clean the tongue. You could also use your toothbrush but, scrappers are better and more effective.
Clean between your teeth with dental flossers, a water flosser, or a similar product. Flossers could be gotten from the hospital when you go for your dental check-up or pharmacies that are very sophisticated.
Rinse after you floss as it cleans out all the dirt and fluoride you had brushed out.
