Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou signed an exclusive multi-fight deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), an American Mixed Martial Arts organization, this Tuesday.

Cameroonian born Ngannou left the UFL in January due to disagreements over his pay and that of other fighters in the organization.

His new contract with UFL will allow him to fight in English boxing and mixed martial arts, a discipline he prefers most.

He will also have the opportunity to fight in English boxing in 2023, before returning to MMAin his new league in 2024.

Ngannou also becomes a member of the organization’s Advisory Council and President of its Africa branch.

The amount of the contract has not been revealed yet but the PFL has boasted on it’s Instagram account of haven concluded “the most expensive and important signing in MMA history.”

In a recent tweet, Ngannou said “I’m not a businessman, I’m a Business, Man”
