The Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) opened on April 24 and closed on April 29, 2023.

The star studded event organized be Agbor Gilbert Ebot brought together film makers, actors and guest fro Cameroon, Nigeria, Egypt and other countries around the globe.

The closing ceremony honoured some movies and movie stakeholders in Cameroon and beyond, in the following categories:

  1. – Best Camiff Festure Film – DETECTIVE KNIGHT: ROGUE.
    A film by Edward Drake from USA 🇺🇸
  2. – Best Short Film – Operation Lights Out – The Story of Canairelief.
    A film by Angela Onuora from Canada 🇨🇦
  3. – Best Documentary Film – Ikinji’s stories
    A film by Marwa Ali Elsharkawi from Egypt 🇪🇬
  4. – Best Online Social Content Creator
    (Audience Choice Award) – Aunty Felicia
  5. Best Overall Actor – Jimmy Jean Louis.
  6. – Best Overall Actress – Nimo Loveline.
  7. – Best Cameroon Film – The Planters Plantation.
  8. – Best Cameroon Actor – Duala Duala.
  9. – Best Cameroon Actress – Stephanie Tum .
  10. – Best Short Film Cameroon – Dibumbe
    A film by Paul-Jessy MATANGA.
  11. – Best Film Director – Nkeng Stephen
  12. – Best Screenplay – When The Levees Broke.
  13. – Honorary Awards – Tchegnebe Jean De Dieu aka Man No Lap.
  14. – Life Time Achievement Award – vugar samson vibimi
  15. – Fallen Hero Award – Ayukachem Stephen Agbor.
  16. – Special Recognition – Souleyman Penda.
  17. Special Recognition – Mme Grace Ngoh Ewang.
