The 4th edition of the Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) has finally come to an end at one of Cameroon’s biggest entertainment hubs, Buea. CAMIFF 2021. List of Awards Winners.
This year’s edition of CAMIFF was special to most film lovers in Cameroon as the award bounced back after failing to hold in 2019 and 2020 due to the anglophone crisis and the coronavirus. The one-week event which took place at the Buea Mountain Hotel and W Cinema from April 20th – 25th, 2021, welcomed filmmakers, actors, and supporters across Cameroon and beyond, including Legendary actor, Ramsey Noah, and Eyinna Nwigwe, both from Nigeria. The edition also recognized some Cameroonian actors and films which have stood out within the last few years.

1 – Best overall Actor – Kang Quintus for Solomon in The Fisherman’s Diary.
2 – Best overall Actress – Faith Fidel for Ekah in The Fisherman’s Diary.
3 – Best short film (International category) – La Foret D’Ebo
4 – Best Cameroon Short film – Mona (A Film by Bismack Enow).
5 – Best Documentary – Lindela Under Lockdown
6 – Best overall Film – The Fisherman’s Diary
7 – Best Cameroon Film – Chariot Of The Gods
8 – Best Cameroon Actor – Vugar Samson Vibimi AKA Grandpa for the movie Fullmoon.
9 – Best Cameroon Actress – Laura Onyama for Mbango in Saving Mbango.
10 – Honorary Awards – Ramsey Noah
11 – Honorary Awards – Salatiel
12- Life Time Achievement award – Quinta Eyong Ashu
13 – Fallen Hero Award – Mr. Xavier Ngassa Ngonga
CAMIFF is a Cameroonian film festival that offers diverse and enthusiastic audiences a means of engaging with their own and other cultures through the art of CINEMA.
