Cameroonian video vixen, Latifah Red has fired back at Cameroonian music fans and trolls who called her out for tattooing the name of Nigerian popular singer, Naira Marley on her chest, and not the name of a Cameroonian artist.
About a week ago, Latifah Red took to social media and shared a photo of a tattoo of Naira Marley on her chest to express her undying love for the controversial singer.
Naira Marley took to his Twitter page to share a video of the tattoo with the caption “Oh wow I’m speechless again.🤦🏽♂️❤️Marlian from Cameroon 🇨🇲 ❤️”
In a recent video, Latifah Red says she is devasted to hear Cameroonians question her on her choice of tattooing the name of Naira Marley on her chest and not the name of an artist from her home country, Cameroon.
According to Latifah, tattooing Naira Marley’s name got the artist to post her on his social media pages and that took her to a whole new level and that is something no Cameroonian artist has ever done for her. She does not see why that makes her cheap.
“You said I did it for attention. Yes, I got the attention and what can you do about it? He posted me. I’m Marlian first daughter and there is nothing you can do about it. If you want your name to be tattooed, work for it. I Love the artist and you all know he is the king.” Latifah adds.
Naira Marley is expected in Cameroon on February 14, 2021 for a music show. The show will also bring together some Cameroonian artists including Askia, Mic Monsta, Fhish, and Show Yoh.
