Cameroonian Dulcy Fankam has been named female basketball athlete of the year.
She was awarded the Prestigious title by the University of Florida in the United States of America.
Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu is a 23 year old Cameroonian basketball player who plays for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA.
She also plays for the Cameroon National Team. She helped Cameroon, to the semifinals of the 2021 FIBA AfroBasket in September. She had 16 points, 18 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals in a 67–61 win over Egypt in the quarterfinals.
