
CAMEROONIAN ARTIST COLLAB WITH JAPANESE DESIGNER FOR STUNNING KIMONO LINE

He grew up in France and studied applied art and industrial design, he moved to Australia and worked as an industrial designer. He shifted to the automobile industry, designing cars for Renault in France and then for Nissan in Japan. There, he fell in love with the country and became inspired to fuse aesthetic elements of Japanese and West African culture into a unique endeavour.
Through Serge Mouangue, WAFRICA and ODASHO design African Kimono which has been in fashion shows across the globe.
Tailored in Kyoto in collaboration with 150 years Kimono. Taking it into the world, the African Kimono has been shown in New York, Dakar, Basel, Stockholm, Kyoto, Paris, Nairobi, Tokyo etc. The Kimono is an existence of two blends of the world’s best cultures.
