Cameroonian Afropop singer Blanche Bailly has made her full return to the 237 music scene after taking a short break to have her baby. On February 5, 2021, she will release her brand new single titled, Jaloux and she is featuring Blu Nation record label boss, Tzy Panchak.
This is going to be the first official collabo between the two Kumba-born singers and fans just can’t wait to see the end result of the song, given that they are some of Cameroon’s best singing voices.
What would Blanche Bailly and Tzy Panchak possibly be singing about in Jaloux? Well as the name suggests, it’s all about jealousy. Perhaps, they will be addressing all those with jealous tendencies and negative energy in the music industry. And to many, they may have taken advantage of the buzz the industry has been enjoying lately to strike the iron when it is hot; release a song at a time it is most likely to trend most.
Recall that there has been a trending comparison between Cameroonian and Nigerian artists, songs, and music shows lately and Tzy Panchak and Blanche have been at the forefront of it. Blanche Bailly and Tzy even recently accepted a challenge from the CEO of Cliq Empire and event organizer, Prince Enobi to jointly organize a music show in Cameroon with only local artists and if they realize profits from it, then Enobi will stop bringing foreign artists to Cameroon and support just Cameroonian talents.
And then, there has been a whole debate on whether foreign music should be banned and foreign artists restricted from performing in Cameroon or not. Apparently, for most fans, all they want is good music and it really doesn’t matter where it is coming from. So that is just what the two singers are doing; giving their fans good music.
Blanche Bailly and Tzy Panchak may just have taken advantage of the buzz and that is apparently a good decision because a lot of fans are already anticipating and talking about the song even before it is released.
