Another Nigerian Chef, Damilola from Ekiti State, has vowed to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest hours of marathon cooking, and in fact break Hilda Bacci’s recent record of 100 hours nonstop cooking.
Damilola started cooking this Friday, June 9, and her target is to cook for 120 hours nonstop. She has set up her kitchen and she has cooked non-stop for 15 hours already.
The chef is seen in a trending video doing her thing with her team in the kitchen.
This is happening when Guiness is yet to confirm Hilda Bacci’s 100 hours cooking record. Hilda Bacci recently cooked nonstop for 100 hours to break the current Guinness World Record of the longest cooking, which is 87hrs 45 mins, set by Indian chef Lata Tondon in 2019.
Guiness is yet to confirm Hilda Bacci’s 100 hour record and then boom, Damilola is here to set her own record.
As expected, netizens are wondering why Damilola has only decided to go on a cook-a-toon now, just when a fellow lady from her country did same. They wonder why she is in a rush to overtake her.
