Inter Milan goalkeeper, Cameroonian born Andre Onana has turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC in the hopes of securing a move to Manchester United instead.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United has “made a bid worth £38.5m” for the Inter Milan goalkeeper.

Man United’s bid of about £38.5m however falls short of Inter’s £50m valuation. The club is not ready to over pay, in as much as Onana is keen to join them.

There is however a willingness on both sides to reach an agreement and negotiations will continue in the next few days.

Onana’s contract with Inter Milan ends this summer and he will be available for a free transfer.

Al Nassar FC was willing to offer Onana a significant salary, but he has opted to turn down the offer, with the hopes of staying in Europe and playing in the European Champions League.
