A friendly match has been announced between the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and the Teranga Lions of Senegal.

The match is scheduled for October 16 at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium in Lens, France, at 8:30 pm.

According to officials of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), the friendly will serve as preparation for the AFCON 2023 and 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This will be the first time the Indomitable Lions and the Teranga Lions will be meeting since 2017, when Cameroon beat Senegal at the Quater finals of the AFCON in Gabon, and went on to lift the trophy.

Well, the circumstances are quite different now. Cameroon would be meeting a Senegalese team that is currently ranked second in Africa and are equally the defending Champions of the AFCON.

Would the Indomitable Lions roar again or would this be pay back time for Senegal?
