6 Ways to stay hydrated apart from drinking water.

Water is a very important substance for the growth of the body and for all living
things. We need a lot of water on a regular basis in order to reduce the chances of
getting sick. But apart from drinking water, there are different ways one can be
hydrated without having to drink water and are very healthy.

1. Eat Cucumbers.

Most people dislike cucumbers for its awful taste but forget it has a lot of benefits.
While some careless of its taste and go for them always because they know of it’s
importance. Try getting yourself some of this attractive-green like garden-fresh
fruits from the roadside or a farmers’ market. It contains a lot of water.

2. Drink Coconut water.

The coconut is enjoying something of a surge in popularity in recent years, and
coconut water is definitely along for the ride. Coconut water does not have all the
carbohydrates that so many of the sports drinks have and coconut water has plenty
of potassium, which is good for the muscles and can help prevent cramps and
spasms.

3. Make Smoothies.

Smoothies are very easy to make and are affordable. It is simply the combination
of different fruits in little quantities, vegetables, and other things you will love to
add to it. There are thousands of ways of making one and it is an excellent way to
stay hydrated.

4. Take Celery.

They are good for the body to stay hydrated due to the fact that its stalk contains
about 95 percent of water. Eating them is a good alternative to stay hydrated.

5. Pack your plate with vegetables.

 

Much like smoothies, salads are a great way to give you a hydrating boost. Most lettuce greens contain at least 94 percent water, and that’s before you add any other vegetables. Next time you whip up a salad, include celery, tomatoes, bell peppers, and carrots.

6. Freeze your fruit.

 

You could blend a hydrating ingredient like watermelon and fold a popsicle mold
and freeze for an hour. It is also a good alternative among the others listed.
